1. Introduction
Welcome to ConsultMe, a digital platform connecting clients with licensed legal service providers ("Consultants"). By accessing or using the application ("App"), you agree to comply with these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using the App.
2. Definitions
- •"Company" / "We" / "Us" / "Our" refers to ConsultMe (CR 189616).
- •"User" / "Client" refers to any individual or entity using the App to seek legal services.
- •"Consultant" refers to any licensed lawyer or legal service provider registered on the App.
- •"Platform" refers to the mobile application and related web services owned and operated by ConsultMe.
- •"Services" refer to all functions and features provided by the Platform, including appointment scheduling, consultations, messaging, document sharing, and payment processing.
3. Eligibility
Users and Consultants must:
- •Be at least 18 years of age.
- •Provide accurate and complete registration information.
- •Comply with applicable laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain and international standards governing professional legal conduct.
4. Scope of Services
ConsultMe serves as a facilitating platform only. The Company does not provide legal advice, representation, or guarantee outcomes of consultations. All legal advice and professional services are rendered solely by the registered Consultants.
5. Consultant Responsibilities
Consultants agree to:
- •Provide accurate, updated licensing information issued by the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments.
- •Use the Invoice System only for lawful professional transactions.
- •Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all client communications.
- •Assume full legal responsibility for the content and advice shared with users.
- •Abide by all ethical and professional standards applicable in Bahrain.
Misuse of the platform for unlicensed legal activity, false representation, or misconduct will result in immediate suspension and may lead to reporting to relevant authorities.
6. User Responsibilities
Users agree to:
- •Provide truthful information when registering and booking appointments.
- •Use the App only for legitimate legal consultations.
- •Respect the confidentiality and privacy of Consultants.
- •Pay applicable fees using the approved payment channels (Visa, MasterCard, BenefitPay, Apple Pay) and any other payment channel made available.
7. Payment and Fees
- •ConsultMe charges a transaction fee per payment processed through the App.
- •Consultants must activate their Invoice Accounts to receive payments directly into their bank accounts.
- •All transactions are processed securely through certified third-party payment processors.
- •ConsultMe does not hold client funds and is not a financial intermediary.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, and code within the App are the property of ConsultMe. No part of the Platform may be copied, distributed, or modified without prior written consent.
9. Data Protection and Privacy
ConsultMe complies with Bahraini data protection laws and international privacy standards. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect user data.
10. Limitation of Liability
ConsultMe shall not be liable for any:
- •Misconduct, negligence, or malpractice by Consultants.
- •Loss of data, profits, or opportunities arising from App usage.
- •Technical issues, downtime, or third-party service failures.
ConsultMe provides the App "as is" without warranties of any kind.
11. Suspension and Termination
The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account in cases of:
- •Policy violations or fraudulent activities.
- •Misuse of the App or payment systems.
- •Legal or regulatory non-compliance.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Disputes shall be exclusively resolved through the Bahraini courts.
13. Amendments
ConsultMe may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
